COCKTAILS

Hisou Mojito Cocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 6 cl 6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 4 cl white rum
  • 2 cl fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp raw cane sugar
  • 6–8 fresh mint leaves
  • Soda water to top up
  • Crushed ice
  • Garnish: mint sprig, lime slices

Preparation:

Step 1: Lightly muddle mint leaves and cane sugar in a glass.

Step 2: Add lime juice, white rum, and Hisou hibiscus drink.

Step 3: Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir well.

Step 4: Top up with soda water and stir gently again.

Step 5: Garnish with mint sprig and lime slices.

Hisou Paloma Cocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 5 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 5 cl Tequila Blanco
  • 1 cl fresh lime juice
  • 8 cl grapefruit juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
  • 1 cl agave syrup or sugar syrup (to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or hibiscus rim (optional)
  • Garnish: grapefruit slice or orange zest, hibiscus flower

Preparation:

Step 1: Optionally, moisten the glass rim with lime and dip into salt or dried hibiscus.

Step 2: Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker.

Step 3: Strain into a glass filled with ice.

Step 4: Garnish with a grapefruit slice and hibiscus flower.

Hisou Martini Cocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 4 cl gin or vodka
  • 2 cl fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cl cl sugar syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: fresh hibiscus flower

Preparation:

Step 1: For more intensity: Reduce Hisou hibiscus drink in a saucepan over medium heat to about half (creates a syrup).

Step 2: Add the reduced Hisou, gin/vodka, lemon juice, and sugar syrup (if used) into a shaker with ice.

Step 3: Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a hibiscus flower and enjoy.

Hisou Rum Punch Cocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 5 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 4 cl dark rum
  • 2 cl white rum
  • 3 cl pineapple juice
  • 2 cl orange juice
  • 1 cl lime juice
  • 1 cl grenadine
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: pineapple chunk, orange slice, cocktail umbrella

Preparation:

Step 1: Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker.

Step 2: Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice.

Step 3: Decorate with pineapple, orange, and a cocktail umbrella.

MOCKTAILS

Hisou Tropical Sunrise Mocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 8 cl pineapple juice
  • 6 cl orange juice
  • 1 cl lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: fresh pineapple slice & mint sprig

Preparation:

Step 1: Add pineapple juice, orange juice, and lime juice to a tall glass filled with ice. Stir gently.

Step 2: Slowly pour Hisou hibiscus drink over the back of a spoon or along the glass edge to create a sunrise effect.

Step 3: Garnish with a pineapple slice and fresh mint.

Hisou Virgin Sangria Mocktail

Ingredients (for 1 large wine glass):

  • 8 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 4 cl red grape juice (direct juice)
  • 4 cl apple juice
  • 2 cl orange juice
  • 1–2 orange slices
  • 1–2 slices of peach or nectarine
  • A handful of fresh berries (e.g., blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: hibiscus flower

Preparation

Step 1: Stir all juices and the Hisou drink in a large glass.

Step 2: Add ice and sliced fruit.

Step 3: Stir gently and garnish with a hibiscus flower.

Hisou Spritz Mocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 6 cl non-alcoholic sparkling wine or tonic water
  • 2 cl orange juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: orange slice

Preparation

Step 1: Place ice cubes in a wine glass.

Step 2: Pour in Hisou, orange juice, and non-alcoholic sparkling wine or tonic water one after another.

Step 3: Stir gently and garnish with an orange slice.

Hisou Cosmopolitan Mocktail

Ingredients (for 1 glass):

  • 6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
  • 4 cl cranberry juice (100% pure juice)
  • 2 cl fresh lime juice
  • 2 cl orange juice
  • 1 cl sugar syrup (optional, according to desired sweetness)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: lime zest or edible hibiscus flower

Preparation

Step 1: Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker.

Step 2: Shake well until the shaker is chilled on the outside.

Step 3: Strain into a chilled cocktail or martini glass.

Step 4: Garnish with lime zest or a hibiscus flower.
